  1. First the PAC-12 championship, now the University of Utah will play against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl 2022. The official announcement came on Sunday afternoon Salt Lake Citybut by then it was almost certain the Utes would go to Pasadena to play the Big Ten Buckeyes in the 108th Rose Bowl. Forget Pulitzer and Hearst; in Salt Lake City– and back to the beginnings of the Utah areaβ€”The press rivalry exists between the Desert News and the Salt Lake Tribune, with a fabled, sometimes violent, history. Although both releases hit audiences in. have found Utah’s media landscape today the once antagonistic sales markets could one day be divided again. In a rush of welcome messages for Salt Lake City, the National weather service predicts winter storms in the direction of the Wasatch front could blow away the inversion and bring in a welcome shower of snow and rain to combat the effects of a year of drought and knock Utah from the dry slump it experienced in November.   4. For a Salt Lake City Librarian, bee care, is in the job description. Roof renovation on the Library in the city center where the bees are normally kept, the bees had to be moved to a temporary home: the back yard of librarian Amber Lawvor. the Salt Lake City Public Library is one of the first libraries in the country to keep honeybees, which makes some sense when you see what the honeybee is like official insect of the state.
