Today is the second ‘Free clean air tariff‘Day this month for riding Utah Transit Authority public transport in Salt Lake City in an effort to reduce the harmful effects of one expected inversion this week along the Wasatch Front. Free Fare Days in August showed a significant increase in the number of passengers on buses and trains. This week’s free plan applies to all UTA bus and train lines, including UTAs On-demand micro-transit service on Salt Lake Citys West side. (KUTV 2 news)
