Arlene Love Obituary (1938-2021) – Ogden, UT

“Together again”
Our loving mother and grandmother were reunited with their eternal companion on September 10, 2021. She was born on March 12, 1938 in Ogden as the daughter of Carl Walter and Hazel Alice Taylor Manzel. Arlene attended Ben Lomond High School.
On February 16, 1955, she married her lover Richard D. Love, and they were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. He died on September 28, 2007.
Arlene was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She worked for the Aspen Care Center as the Resident Care Coordinator for 40 years and was valued and loved by all.
Her greatest joys alongside her beloved family included camping, fishing, gardening, and collecting antiques and stuffed animals.
Her parents, her brother Carl (Forest) Manzel, her husband Richard, their son Danny and a grandson John R. Love preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her sons John (Sheila) Love and Perry (Lorrie) Love and daughters Sheri (Dan) Smith and Laurie Ann Love (Michelle Day).
The funeral will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Acres Ward, 236 Porter Avenue, Ogden, Utah. Viewing takes place Friday 6pm to 8pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah and in the church before services from 9:40 a.m. to 10:40 p.m. A live stream of the services can be viewed on Arlene’s obituary page at www.myers-mortuary.com
Burial in Evergreen Memorial Park.
