Award co, a Provo, Utah-based employee reward and recognition company that builds culture through value recognition, raised $ 65 million in Series A funding.
This round, which brought Awardco’s valuation to more than $ 900 million, was led by General Catalyst and Ryan Smith, co-founders of Qualtrics and majority owner of Utah Jazz.
Led by Steve Sonnenberg, Founder and CEO, Awardco promotes behavior and builds a workplace culture through value recognition and rewards through an employee recognition and total rewards platform that includes millions of products, hotels through Priceline, event tickets, gift cards, swag and custom catalogs ,
His network and platform have already built a customer list of over 1,000 companies in 141 countries, including companies like L3Harris Technologies, Texas Roadhouse, Hertz and Zillow.
Since its inception in 2012, Awardco has achieved positive cash flow while doubling its size and sales annually.
