The Big Sky Conference today officially released the 2021-22 league basketball schedule. Big Sky game is back to normal with the home-and-home round robin format of 20 games.
The opening weekend will be in early December, then conference play will resume shortly before the beginning of the year. The Vikings will tour Idaho and Weber states on December 2nd and 4th. They then play six of eight conference games at home between December 30th and January 27th.
Portland State will have five home games on Thursday, four home games on Saturday and one home game on Monday on the Big Sky schedule. At this point in time, PSU expects the games to be open to full audience.
The Big Sky Conference Championship Tournament will again take place in Boise, ID, at the Idaho Central Arena.
The new head coach Jase Coburn will have an exciting schedule in his first season. The Vikings have non-conference games in Oregon State and Iowa, as well as home games with Portland and Cal Poly, among others. A full PSU basketball schedule will be released later this summer.
This season, all Big Sky Conference games will be streamed live on ESPN +.
