The Buckeyes start the season with a veteran group as 10 out of 11 starters return from last year’s team that went into the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The game on Thursday evening will be broadcast live on BYUtv. The channel can be found on Comcast, DirecTV & Dish Network. Fans who don’t have these cable providers can use the BYUtv app, which all fans need to do is create a free account to watch the game.

  • This will only be the third duel between the two teams. BYU won 3-0 in Columbus in 2016 and 0-0 in Provo in 2017.
  • The Buckeyes come from an 8-3-3 campaign last spring that earned them a spot in the NCAA championship. OSU defeated Stony Brook 5-1 in the first round and then fell to Santa Clara in the second round.

  • The Buckeyes are returning 10 of 11 starters and 19 letter winners from last year’s NCAA tournament team.
  • OSU is also returning six of its top 7 point scorers.
