1.No. 20 Baylor (6-1 overall, 3-1 Big 12)

Results: Baylor controlled both lines of scrimmage and stormed for 303 yards in a 38-24 win over No. 19 BYU.

What’s happening? BYU only managed 67 yards in 24 carries and the Bears looted Jaren Hall five times. … Baylor is in 21st place this week, the first time since week 7 of 2019 (22nd) for the Bears in the AP poll.

2. Utah (4-2 overall, 3-0 Pac-12 South)

Results: Utah beat 18th Arizona State 28-0 in the second half to claim a 35-21 win.

3. Virginia (5-2 overall, 3-2 ACC Coastal)

Results: Virginia scored on all six possession in the first half, and Brennan Armstrong threw for 364 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-0 shutout from Duke.

6. Utah State (4-2 overall, 2-1 MWC mountain)

Results: Eleyon Noa scored a goal in an 11-yard touchdown run with 35 seconds to go when Utah State took a 28-24 win over UNLV, leaving the Rebels 0-6 without a win.

Results: Shamari Brooks scored 47 seconds in a 3 yard run to take Tulsa past South Florida with 32-31.

Results: Jake Bentley became the first player in South Alabama history to score five touchdowns in one game, in a 41-14 win over Georgia Southern for two and three more passing games.
