According to a BYU press release, the two schools and the West Coast Conference will work to postpone the competition later this season if possible.

This marks the first shift in BYU’s schedule this season due to COVID-19.

Earlier this season, BYU coach Jeff Judkins tested positive for COVID-19 and missed a vacation tournament in late November. He has since returned after missing three games.

BYU is currently 10-1 on the season overall after completing the non-conference portion of the schedule. In addition, at the beginning of this season, the Cougars achieved the highest ranking in program history and climbed to 16th place in the top 25 polls.

Led by three All-American contestants in Shaylee Gonzales, Lauren Gustin and Paisley Harding, BYU has beaten five Power Six conference teams this season. The only setback was an overtime loss to Oklahoma in Norman. Oklahoma is currently receiving votes in the AP Top 25 poll.

The next scheduled game for BYU Women’s Basketball is this Saturday when the Portland Pilots host the BYUtv at 2:00 p.m. CET.
