Carolyn Cecelia Sumsion Rawle, our dear mother, and grandmother, passed away May 31, 2022, in Wales, Utah at the age of 85. Daughter of LaCelle and Julia Johnson Sumsion, she was born in Provo on March 7, 1937. She and her husband Ronald, Ronald M. Rawle, were married for 45 years before he passed away in 2004. She is survived by all of her six children:
Kevin (Teresa), Provo; Mark (Denise), Orem; Ja Nae (Rick), Cedar City; Kris (Judy), Mapleton; Richard (Amber), Saratoga Springs; and Rondo, Wales; along with 23 grandchildren and 18+ great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 10:30 am to 11:30 am prior to her funeral at 12:00 noon at the San Pitch 1st Ward Chapel at 92 S 200 W in Wales, Utah on Monday, June 6, 2022. Interment will take place at the Wales Cemetery. Online condolences, Zoom Live Link at rasmussenmortuary.com in her obituary.
