Cheyenne Neighborhood Night Out Block Party Locations announced

Eighteen block parties will be held across Cheyenne this Thursday, July 15, as the community celebrates Neighborhood Night.

In its twelfth year, the event aims to bring neighbors, businesses and the police together to fight crime together.

“When neighbors can meet and interact with each other and with the officers who serve them, we can work together to prevent crime,” said police spokeswoman Alex Farkas.

Farkas says those who don’t have a block party in their neighborhood or want to attend more than one can head to the Blue Federal Credit Union World Headquarters for the community-wide Neighborhood Night Out celebration.

“We hope to see you there,” she said.
