Delta/SkyWest plane towed off SLC Airport runway after ‘potential maintenance issue’ while landing

SALT LAKE CITY – A SkyWest-operated Delta Connection flight may have had problems landing in Salt Lake City on Monday evening.

A Delta spokesman said Flight 4262 was towed to the gate after arriving at SLC International Airport.

Delta informed FOX 13 that the decision “was made out of great caution after giving indications of a potential maintenance problem during the landing”.

Further details on possible problems were not given.

According to FlightAware, the plane came from Durango, Colorado and landed punctually in SLC around 7:40 p.m.

“The safety of our customers and our crew remains the top priority for Delta,” added the spokesman.
