FBI finds missing 17-year-old girl from Uintah County

FORT DUCHESNE, Uintah County — The FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs found a missing 17-year-old girl who disappeared Monday from her family’s home.

Maris Sireech was last seen by her family at their home in Fort Duchesne, Uintah County, Monday night. She was found Wednesday afternoon, according to a Facebook post from the Bureau of Indian Affairs Ft. Duchesne Police Department.

Officials believed she may have been in Roosevelt, Fort Duchesne or Vernal but have not yet released details about where or how she was found. The cause of her disappearance has not been released, either.
