How to schedule a vaccine appointment through your local health department

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – More and more people are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, but you’ll need to make an appointment to get one.

Residents shouldn’t arrive at vaccination clinics without an appointment, officials say.

According to the Utah Department of Health, local health departments have high volumes of calls and web traffic and it can take multiple attempts to make an appointment. Each department is also given a limited number of doses per week, so some residents may still need to check with their local health department.

UDOH states that anyone who wants a vaccine can get one at some point.
