OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) – Everyone who lives in an Ogden home, including the family dog, is safe after a basement fire Thursday morning.
Ogden Fire crews were called into the house on Van Buren Avenue just before 8:45 a.m.
The caller reported a fire in the basement of the house.

When the crews arrived, the smoke they found came from the basement and was able to quickly mitigate the fire conditions, limiting the fire to a bathroom in the basement.
While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the damage to the home is estimated at $ 75,000.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
