Jessica Scott, 42, died at her home in Green River, Wyoming on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
She had lived in Green River, Wyoming for the past nine and a half years and previously was based in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was born on October 16, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Danny Thomas Kofford and Colleen Dymock.
Ms. Scott attended schools in Vernal, Utah and Price Utah. She married Jason Scott on April 14, 2000 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mrs. Scott worked as a preschool teacher for Kid and Company for eight years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and preschoolers, fishing and bragging about the prisoner, and loved long, leisurely naps. When she ended an argument, she always said “you know what”.
Survivors include her husband Jason Scott of Green River, Wyoming; her parents, Danny Kofford and Mrs. Colleen of Price, Utah; one son, Caleb Scott of Green River, Wyoming; two daughters, Lacey Perez and husband Hector from Tultitlan, Mexico; Mikkie Scott of Green River, Wyoming; three brothers, Michael Kofford and wife Stephanie and Rock Springs, Wyoming; Michael Buckalew and wife Jamie, Layton, Utah; Cody Buckalew and wife Julie of Toole, Utah; two sisters, Michelle Leftwich and husband Charles of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Danyesa Alford and husband Cody of Price, Utah; two grandchildren, Luke Perez; Natalie Perez; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her paternal grandparents preceded her in death; Maternal grandparents; a brother, Matthew Kofford.
