Judith Lynne “Judy” Coletti

1941-2021

Salt Lake City, UT – Judy was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to James “Jimmy” and Lynne Elizabeth Coletti. She grew up with her brother Jimmy Junior, aunts, uncles and cousins ​​in Kemmerer and Salt Lake City. She fully attended the community and high school, then became a graduate nurse, wife, and mother of four boys, David, Christopher, Michael, and John, whom she raised with her first husband, Kerry Bodily.

Judy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was the mother-in-law of Christine, Kim, and Kimberly and the grandmother of Katie, Sydney, Morgan, and Zoe. She was aware of her roles and relationships and empathized deeply with the people she knew and loved. She was generous and kind to those around her. She wanted the best for everyone and was committed to it.

Judy was a “nurse” and her calling has touched the lives of countless patients and families. She practiced in many specialist areas and held management positions in care units and in agency administration.

Judy valued education. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing and eventually became a nursing teacher at Westminster College in Salt Lake. She was a tireless student advocate. She was known by colleagues and students alike for her passion, commitment and professionalism.

Judy loved traveling and hiking and saw this country and others with good friends, her granddaughter Katie and with George Cooper, whom she was married to at the end of her trip. She had a zest for life that these travel companions were able to experience with her.

Judy went home peacefully. They have an appointment with family and friends. Get well soon Judy, you are loved.
