The couple loved to travel post-retirement making their way to Panama, Alaska, Washington DC as well as Holy Sites in Israel and Europe. Julia and Albert famously hosted a Christmas Eve Party which acted as an annual reunion and Julia’s chance to celebrate with her family by sharing a festive toast of tequila.

Albert and Julia had five children: John “Gene” (Mandy), Lawrence “Bud” (Lois), Vincent (Ruth), Cathy (Matt) and Tim (Leslie). Julia adored her 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
