1931~2022

Kenneth Hazen Exeter passed away on May 22, 2022 in Sandy, Utah. Born January 19, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas Hazen Exeter and Juanita Dolores Jensen. He graduated from Granite High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.

Ken has been married to his high school sweetheart Helen Fitzgerald for 71 plus years. He was an exceptional husband and father. He was a kind, honorable and noble gentleman as well as a successful businessman. He will always be remembered as having a positive attitude, being good natured, cheerful, happy and having a smiling face.

Ken is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions including Scout Master. Ken loved to fish, camp, go 4 wheeling and vacationing with his family. He was a fan of the U of U and the Denver Broncos Football teams.

Ken is survived by his wife Helen, children: Garey (Kerry), Cynthia (Jim), David (Shelley), Pamela (Val), 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Kent.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Eastdell LDS Church Bldg, 9855 S. Eastdell Drive. Graveside services to follow on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 S. Vine Street at 1:00 pm
