KLJ hires Adam Massey as market manager

KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ) is pleased to welcome Adam Massey to his Grand Junction, Colorado office, where he will lead, as Market Manager, key community and above-ground project development efforts including public works, transportation, water and sewerage services.

Massey has over 35 years of professional experience working with federal, state, local and private clients across the western United States, overseeing all phases of road, bridge and airport projects with a budget in excess of $ 40 million.

Notable past positions include President and CEO of the road construction company Warhawk Enterprises, which he owned and ran for over 20 years. He was also the Executive Director of the Uintah Transportation Special Service District, where he directed and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the largest funded Federal Mineral Lease Special Service District in the state of Utah, along with the management of Vernal Municipal Airport in Vernal, Utah. He was also the executive director of the Vernal Region Chamber of Commerce.

For the past three years, he has served as an engineering and business development consultant across eastern Utah and western Colorado, aligning funding and operational resources to support road and infrastructure projects.

Massey has also served on numerous boards and committees, including the Uintah Transportation Special Service District, Utah Transportation Coalition, Utah State Chamber, Envision Utah, UCAIR, Seven County Infrastructure Coalition, and Basin Transit Authority.

Massey studied engineering and business administration at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.
