(KMAland) – Three KMAlanders won titles at the CB Classic, Bedford / Lenox won their home championship, Kuemper did well in Ogden and more from KMAland wrestling on Saturday.

Council Bluffs classic wrestling

Three KMAlanders won championships while Underwood took third place in the Council Bluffs Wrestling Classic.

Missouri Valley’s Eli Becerra won the £ 113 title, Underwood’s Gable Porter won the £ 132 championship and Atlantic-CAM’s Kadin Stutzman was the £ 170 winner.

Underwood had three other championships with Blake Allen (120), Stevie Barnes (138) and Hagen Heistand (145), all of which took second place. The Eagles finished third with 365.5 points behind Brandon Valley (562.5) and Millard South (423).

Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s Bo Koedam was another area finalist, finishing second with £ 126. The Warriors had 259.5 points in 13th place. Atlantic-CAM was ranked 16th with 217.5, while Plattsmouth (149), Missouri Valley (148.5) and Nebraska City (144.5) ranked 23rd, 24th and 26th.

Ogden doubles tournament

Kuemper Catholic finished second in the Ogden Dual Tournament. The Knights defeated BGM (54-30), Ogden (45-26), North Butler (45-33) and All Stars (72-12) before losing to Algona (45-22) in the championship duel.

Cal Wanninger led the Knights with 30 team points accumulated that day. Hayden Stout was 27 and Kent Sanders was 24.

Bedford / Lenox Invitational (at Lenox)

Bedford / Lenox scored 183 points and were team champions when they were invited at home. Nodaway Valley was the second highest area team in third place with 158 points. Southwest Valley finished fourth at 145 and Southwest Iowa fifth at 138.

Jake Cox won the 182-pound championship for Bedford / Lenox and was the program’s only champion that day.

Nodaway Valley won titles from Elliot Cooney (132) and Jaxon Christensen (138), while Brayden Maeder (113) from Southwest Valley, Ryder Petry (160) and Colin Jacobs (195) were also champions.

Maryville also had two champions in Drew Spire with 170 and Kort Watkins with 285. Gabe Johnson (120) from Southwest Iowa and DJ Islas (126) from East Union were other single winners.

Sibley Ocheyedan ​​Invitation

Sergeant Bluff-Luton finished the race with 187 points and finished third in the Sibley-Ocheyedan ​​Invite. Sioux City West took seventh place with 60 points.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s Derek Moore won with 160, while Sioux City West’s Antonio Medina won with 182.

Knoxville Invitational

Moravia had 125 points and finished fourth at the Knoxville Invitational. Aiden Golston was the only Mohawk champion at 120 pounds.

Battle of the Point (at West Point-Beemer)

The Weeping Water Girls took a solid fifth place, scoring 92 points in the Battle of the Point. Conestoga came in eighth with 66 points and Johnson County Central had 30 in 16th.

Raelyn Wilson was the sole area champion for Weeping Water, winning the 107-pound championship.

Invite Crete

Ashland-Greenwood and Syracuse finished sixth and seventh respectively in the Crete Invite. In the girls’s tournament, Louisville was fourth with 83 points.

Ashland-Greenwoods Luke Lambert was the 220 pound champion while Louisville had two girl champions at Payton Thiele with 100 and Daysha Jones with 152.

NBC Wrestling Invite (in North Bend Central)

Johnson County Central was ninth with 67 points and Louisville was ranked 14th with 30 points in the North Bend Central Invitational.

Sabetha double tournament

Auburn finished third in the Sabetha Dual Tournament. The Bulldogs defeated Washburn Rural JV (45-27), Sabetha JV (60-12) and Humboldt-TRS (52-24) but lost to Sabetha (58-24), Silver Lake (55-19).

Brant Gulizia scored 22 points, leading Auburn that day. Aedan Drier, Dakoda Oden, Isaiah Morrow, Trenton Hall and Daryl Wheeldon all had 18 team points.

Bob Oliver Pin Invitation

Palmyra finished fifth at the Bob Oliver Pin Invitational with 59 points. The Panthers were led by Gage Bohaty with 132 and Evan Bryan-Aldrich with 285. Both took third place in their respective class.
