Coalville, Utah – Luella B. Judd, 84 years old, died of cancer on August 23, 2021.

Luella Blonquist Judd was born on October 19, 1936 in an apartment on the roof of Summit Merc in Coalville, Utah. She was born to Dorothy Vernon and Chester Earl Blonquist. In 1954 she attended North Summit Elementary School and High School. She graduated from LDS Business College and worked for Dunn and Bradstreet in Salt Lake City. She married her high school friend Tom W. Judd on May 24, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple after returning from Korea. Luella and Tom lived in Salt Lake City for four years and returned to Coalville in 1960, where they lived the rest of their lives. She worked with her father and brothers as an accountant at the Summit Mercantile for many years.

Luella was always proud of her home and loved to work in her garden to the end. She was a devoted wife and mother who cared for a sick husband. She was a member of the LDS Church where she taught elementary school and Sunday school.

At her request, she only wanted a grave object and is buried at the side of her parents in Coalville Cemetery.

Your services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, with a 10:00 a.m. tour of the Coalville stake center, followed by a 12:00 noon service.

She is survived by her husband Tom; three sons Michael (Robin) and Russell (Loreli) of Coalville, Tom (Leah), Echo and a daughter Meredith (Mark Davis), Jacksonville, Florida. She also leaves eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and their brothers Jim (Donna Jean), Coalville and Spug (Lynette), Kamas, and a sister Linda (Kent Garfield), Coalville.
