UINTAH COUNTY, Utah — A man who police believe was driving his dog to a veterinarian was killed in an accident in Uintah County Wednesday.
The single car rollover accident occurred at 3750 South near 1800 East. Witnesses told Uintah County Sheriff’s Office deputies that the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control.

The unidentified driver of the car was ejected from the vehicle when it went off the road. The man died at the scene.
Officials say they believe the driver was taking the dog to the vet. The dog did not survive the accident.
