Michael Burton Taylor
1981-2021
Michael Burton Taylor was born in Burley, Idaho on January 6, 1981 and returned to his Heavenly Father in Bountiful, Utah on October 26, 2021. His parents were Deanne Burton Taylor and Mark J. Taylor. Michael had a brother and a sister who became his best friends. They loved Michael and immediately a bond was established between the three that never stopped. He spent the first four years of his life in Rupert, Idaho, and then moved to Centerville, Utah, where he grew up. In 1999 he graduated from Viewmont High School.
As a child, he was very involved in all sports, including his favorite sport, soccer. He loved to play hard and it was great to see him run across the field. Michael was loved very much by everyone who knew him. He grew up with a group of friends who are his friends to this day. He loved his family and his cousins. He was a very loving man who cared very much for others.
Michael’s dream was to get married and have a family. He married Veruca and they had two beautiful children. He wanted a house with a yard where they could have a dog. The dream came true three weeks ago when they moved into a house with a garden and had a puppy. Michael is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He believed in the power of God and we know he is watching over us all now. His loss is extremely difficult for all who loved him. He gave us a lot of joy and we will miss him very much.
Michael leaves behind his wife Veruca and his two children Wyatt and Isabella; his parents, Deanne Taylor and Mark Taylor (Barb); his sister Katie Martinez and her family and his brother Matthew Taylor and his family; Aunts and uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Michael’s funeral will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, UT Service. The burial takes place in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
