Allegiant Air will add 22 new routes to its route network this fall to attract winter travelers trying to plan excursions in the sun.
These include seven new year-round routes starting from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport for the Las Vegas-based ultra-low-cost airline.
The new flights will start at the end of October, November and December just in time for the holiday travel season.
“A hallmark of Allegiant’s service is connecting travelers to warmer destinations where they can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and network planning, in a press release. “And we’ve continued that tradition with this expansion by offering our customers cheaper non-stop options to visit Arizona, Florida and Texas during the fall and winter seasons.”

From Mesa Gateway, the carrier offers the following services:
- Amarillo, Texas (Nov. 18).
- Flint, Michigan (Nov. 18).
- Springfield, Illinois (Nov. 18).
- Tulsa, Oklahoma (Nov. 18).
- Orange County, California (as of November 19).
- Spokane, Washington (Nov. 22nd).
- Minneapolis (Nov. 24).
