Nola Jensen Westover

1928-2022

Nola Jensen Westover was born on a spring morning, March 23, 1928 in Moroni, Utah. Her parents were Delmar and Sodonia Jensen. She grew up in Moroni as a daughter of a farmer. She graduated from Moroni High and moved to Salt Lake City to find work. She contributed to the war efforts by corresponding to dozens of servicemen of World War II. After receiving five proposals she found the love of her life when she met Ariel F. Westover, a good looking guy with lots of hair; on top of that, he had just returned home from the Navy. He was dating her best friend at the time. They married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 22, 1947. They remained in Salt Lake City raising their family. She served in several church positions including primary president for the largest primary in the church at that time. She loved rainbows in the sky, waterfalls, spending time with the grandkids and playing jokes on the family whenever the occasion arose. She leaves behind 5 children; Gloria, David (Doris’Lee), Karen(Lynn) Cindy, Brian (Toni), 14 grand children, 36 great grandchildren, 3 great grand children and 14 granddogs. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, a grandson, her parents, and her 2 sisters, Twila and Myrtle.

Funeral Services were previously held.
