Park City upset No. 7 East for first win of the season

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Park City miners pissed off the # 7 East Leopards Friday night, 24-23.

Park City’s Carson Tabaracci scored two touchdowns in the Miners win.

With the result, Park City improved to a record of 1-3 that season and East fell to 0-3.

The Olympus Titans defeated the Murray Spartans 45-21. Isaac Hodgson and Ty Seagle each scored a pair of touchdowns for the Titans. With the result, Tooele improved to a record of 3-1 that season and Murray fell to 2-2.

No. 22 Brighton 51 @ Highland 21

The # 22 Brighton Bengals passed the Highland Rams on Friday 51-21. Bengal quarterback Jack Johnson threw four touchdown passes in Brighton’s win. With the result, Brighton improved to a record 3-1 and Highland fell to 0-3 that season.

The Cedar Valley Aviators defeated the Payson Lions on Friday 42-16. After the half-time tie, Cedar Valley scored 24 unanswered points in the second half. Easton Schank made four touchdowns in the game. With the result, Cedar Valley improved to a record of 2-2 that season and Payson fell to 3-1.

The Northridge Knights defeated the Cottonwood Colts 48-0 on Friday. Northridge scored 41 of his total points in the first two quarters of the game.
