Patricia Sager’s summer
Patricia was born on November 16th,1931 in Salt Lake City Utah to William May Sagers and Beatrice Genevieve Magnusson Sagers. She was the first born and had 5 sisters. Doreen, Marjorie, Kathleen, Terry and Shannon. Patricia attended Jordan High School and belonged to the Charlonians honor society. Belonging to the Journalist Club Patricia became the editor of the school magazine during her Junior and Senior year. Patricia graduated from Jordan High School on May 19th,1950
Patricia met Ronald William Sommer late in the summer of 1953 and it was love at first sight. Ron proposed at Christmas and he and Patricia were married on May 14th, 1954. They had three children Ronald, Robert, and Rolayne. Ron’s job moved the family around the country many times but on retirement they settled in Roy Utah. Ron and Pat celebrated 66 wonderful years together before Ron passed away in July 2020.
Patricia was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many capacities as a Sunday School Teacher, Chorister, Relief Society President, Stake Primary President, Family Historian, and the job she loved the most a Temple Worker.
Patricia passed away peacefully at home with friends on May 10th she was 90 years old. She is survived by 5 Children, 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren. As a Model Wife, Amazing Mother, and friend to everyone that knew her, she will be missed.
