CHRISMAN – The Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School girls cross country team finished seventh in the Chrisman Cowchip Classic with a score of 156 on Saturday.
Trixie Johnson finished seventh with a time of 19:05.1 while Mackenzie Swan finished 26th with a time of 22:02.2, Grace McCoy finished 41st with a time of 23:19.7, Sydney Pickens finished 57th with a time of 24:28.8 and Kate Wilson finished 70th with a time of 57:57.3.
On the boys’ side, Aiden Kerr finished sixth with a time of 17:14.9, followed by Isaiah Busby (52nd, 19:25.8), Conner Rodriquez (54th, 19:30.2) and Tyson Franckey (58th, 19:48.6).
In the boys’ open race, Eli Grohler finished 29th with a time of 23:22.53 while Zane Latimer finished 30th with a time of 23:23.63 and Arlo Linder placed 36th with a time of 24:34.44. In the girls’ open race, Elizabeth Megson finished 25th with a time of 30:10.76.
The Panthers will host their next meet at the high school at 9 am next Saturday.
