Police ask for help locating truck involved in SLC burglary

The South Salt Lake Police Department is asking the public for help locating a white truck that they said was involved in a break-in on Wednesday.

The alleged break-in occurred in the early evening at a construction site near 2100 S. and West Temple in Salt Lake City.

According to police, several suspects stole approximately $ 20,000 worth of copper and power tools from the site.

The authorities described the truck as “very clear” as it has a black front bumper and a black truck bed. The truck is also damaged on the passenger fender or possibly the passenger door.

According to police, the suspects are two men who covered their faces during the incident.
