Provo has had problems with trailer theft in the past and police want to continue to do so.
Police reminded residents on Saturday how to prevent their followers from being stolen with a social media post that includes a 2019 video.
The video provided tips, including locker tags. Items stolen in the past include power tools, building materials, sports equipment, and off-road vehicles.
Officials also advise against parking trailers on the street. The use of a coupling lock is also recommended.
Another line of defense is a bike boot lock. Finally, padlocks on the trailer doors are also recommended.
If you discover suspicious behavior, report it to the police.
