Qualtrics: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

PROVO, Utah (AP) _ Qualtrics International Inc. (XM) on Monday reported a loss of $233.5 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Provo, Utah-based company said it had a loss of 40 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 4 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 3 cents per share.

The developer of application software posted revenue of $377.5 million in the period, also surpassing street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $358.7 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Qualtrics expects its per-share earnings to range from 2 cents to 3 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $380 million to $382 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

Qualtrics expects full-year earnings in the range of 4 cents to 5 cents per share, with revenue expected to be $1.45 billion.
