Rep. Moore will storm 1st Congressional District in the summer months – Cache Valley Daily

Utah Rep. Blake Moore announced plans for a series of community meetings with residents across northern Utah in July and August.

WASHINGTON, DC – Utah Rep Blake Moore plans to storm his 1st Congressional District in July and August.

The junior representative staff said Moore will hold a series of face-to-face city hall meetings in various locations across northern Utah.

Moore will visit the more rural parts of Ward 1 in July, with town hall meetings in Uintah County on Thursday, July 8th and in Daggett County on Friday, July 9th.

These events will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Uintah County Conference Center and Daggett County Building.

In August, Moore will visit the most populous parts of his district.

He will meet with voters in Layton on August 17th; in Park City on August 20; in Logan and Brigham City on August 24; Morgan City on August 26; and in Ogden on August 27th.

Moore’s spokeswoman Caroline Tucker says the times and locations for these town hall meetings in August will be announced shortly.

To facilitate access for Moore citizens, the Utah congressman’s staff will also be holding mobile clinics at various District 1 locations in late July.

Moore’s staff will visit Rich, Cache, and Box Elder Counties on July 20; Daggett and Uintah counties July 21; Counties Weber and Davis July 27; and Morgan and Summit Counties on July 28th.

While Congress was in session, Moore held convened town hall meetings to maintain contact with the residents of the 1st District. During the most recent of these phone calls, a survey found that the immigration crisis was the problem that respondents believed was the most important problem for Congress to resolve.

Utah’s 1st Congressional District spans much of the northern part of the state, including Box Elder, Cache, Daggett, Morgan, Rich, Summit, Uintah, and Weber counties, as well as parts of Davis County.
