1935 – 2022

Roene Penrod Davis, passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was born September 29, 1935, in Provo, Utah, to LeRoy W Penrod and Afton Cluff Penrod.

Roene attended Page Elementary School in Provo, Lincoln High in Orem, Utah graduating in 1953; later Henager Business College in Salt Lake City, graduating in 1954. She worked for US Steel-Geneva Works for 30 years, retiring in 1986.

She married Kent Shelley Davis June 25, 1959, in the Idaho Falls Temple.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in several of the church organizations and as an ordinance worker in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.

Her greatest joy was her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and crocheting and made many Afghans and dolls for her family.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Lynne (Scott) Bronson, Provo, Utah, and Gayle (Kerry) Noland, Pleasant Grove, Utah, Ten grandchildren: Melissa Johansson, Joel (Nyla) Bronson, Paige, Michael, Christopher ( Chelsey) Bronson and Rachel Bronson. Kayla (Bryan) Lemons, Jessica, Kody (Jenn) Noland and Rebecca (Ty) Phillips. Three brothers, Reed C. (Julie) Penrod, Wallsburg, Utah, Dale C. (Melody) Penrod, Springville, Utah, and Mark C. (Allison) Penrod of Provo, Utah, and 11 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, January 6, 2023, at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
