Several people were charged following a drug bankruptcy in Vernal, Utah

VERNAL, Utah (ABC4) – Three adult men and two teenagers were charged with substance abuse in Vernal, Utah.

The Uintah Basin Narcotic Strike Force seized large quantities of illegal narcotics during a drug investigation.

Several people were charged with narcotics crimes during the drug bankruptcy.

On March 12, 2021, Basin Narcotic and DEA agents announced they had conducted a joint operation involving a house in the Vernal area suspected of trafficking in illicit narcotics.

According to official sources, the suspicion was based on a local case investigated by the Strike Force, as well as a case investigated by the DEA on the Wasatch Front.

As a result of this operation, three adult men and two teenagers were charged with possession and / or distribution of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, LSD and drug paraphernalia.

The total street value of illicit drugs seized during the operation was estimated at nearly $ 74,000, according to officials.

In addition to the illegal drugs found, three handguns are believed to have been confiscated. Two of the handguns were found hidden in a shop.

An alleged written ledger listing the sales of the drugs was also taken from home.

Johannah Farley has been charged with multiple possession with intent to spread crime, possession of illegal narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a disabled person, and endangering children.

Kaden Holmes has been jailed on a pardon warrant and is charged with narcotics and weapons.

Not all suspects in the case have been identified as officials say the incident is still under investigation.
