SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police are asking for help searching for a 66-year-old missing woman who was last seen Thursday around 8:30 am at her apartment at near 200 South and 1100 East in Salt Lake City.

A silver alert was activated Thursday for Susan Mary Bishop, who is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and 115 pounds with grey/white hair and blue eyes. She is said to have been last seen wearing blue jeans and a silver jacket with feathers on the hood along with a blue backpack.

Bishop has bipolar disease, schizophrenia and dementia and hasn’t been taking her medication, police said.

Anyone with information on Bishop’s whereabouts is asked to call 801-799-3000 or dial 911.
