1951-2021

Steven (Steve) Lee Killpack of Salem, Utah, died peacefully in the hospital on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from an extended illness. We will very much miss his generosity, kindness and kindness.

Steve was born on June 22, 1951 in Provo, Utah, to Garth Homer Killpack and Marian Andersen Killpack. On December 27, 1969, he married his childhood sweetheart Terry Bell Bringhurst. In 2019 they celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Steve retired as a plumber. After retiring, Steve and Terry enjoyed some wonderful vacations including a Caribbean cruise and a trip to Hawaii.

Steve was passionate about nature and found joy in nature. He took his sons backpacking trips to canyon lands of southern Utah and the high Uintah mountains when they were barley big enough to carry their own backpacks. Steve had many hobbies throughout his life that often required research and skill development. Once the championship was reached, he quickly moved on to the next challenge. Over the years this has included marksmanship, photography, fly fishing, woodworking, automobile restoration, home improvement, and so much more, to name a few.

Steve leaves behind his wife Terry, his sons Marcus Killpack and Nathan Killpack, his sister Teri Lynn and his brother Roger Killpack. He was killed by his parents Garth and Marian Killpack, brother Craig, and grandson Tyler.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9th at 11:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah. Close friends and family are very welcome.

The family sincerely thanks their friends, neighbors, and health professionals who supported them during this difficult time.
