COLUMBUS, Ohio – Two people are in custody early Monday morning after a vehicle was reported stolen on the west side of Columbus on Sunday evening.
According to Columbus Police, an armed car theft was reported in Block 30 of North James Road at 11:20 p.m.
The car was later discovered by officials and a helicopter chase began.
Local officials believe that the speed has reached 100 miles per hour on the freeway and high speeds on the back roads.
The chase ended just after 1:10 a.m. on Mound Street and Ogden Avenue
No injuries were reported and two people were arrested without incident, police said.
