It has always been a diluted, exclusive beach destination. and as more travelers seek seclusion and privacy amid the pandemic, the Turks and Caicos Islands are seeing an increase in villa rentals.
And with top Caribbean villa destinations like St. Barth currently closed (though that’s likely to change soon), travelers are increasingly looking for the luxurious sands of Providenciales.
“A vacation to the Turks and Caicos Islands is a great option right now, and renting a private villa is the ideal way to enjoy the destination and stay safe,” said Stiles Bennet, President of WIMCO Villas. “There are direct flights from many US hubs. Every visitor must present a negative test result so you know that everyone on the plane tested negative recently and there are very few cases on the island.”

This is because more and more airlines are increasing their service to Provo Airport, from American Airlines operating two flights a day from Miami to new flights en route from New York.
“Most of the private villas are on the 10 miles (10 miles) of Grace Bay Beach, and there’s plenty of space on the beach to relax and be socially detached,” Bennet told the Caribbean Journal. “The restaurants and bars by the water are outdoors and open until 10 p.m. every evening.
