Turks and Caicos Is the Caribbean’s Hottest Villa Destination

It has always been a diluted, exclusive beach destination. and as more travelers seek seclusion and privacy amid the pandemic, the Turks and Caicos Islands are seeing an increase in villa rentals.

And with top Caribbean villa destinations like St. Barth currently closed (though that’s likely to change soon), travelers are increasingly looking for the luxurious sands of Providenciales.

“A vacation to the Turks and Caicos Islands is a great option right now, and renting a private villa is the ideal way to enjoy the destination and stay safe,” said Stiles Bennet, President of WIMCO Villas. “There are direct flights from many US hubs. Every visitor must present a negative test result so you know that everyone on the plane tested negative recently and there are very few cases on the island.”

Turks and Caicos Islands officially reopened to tourism last July and have hosted one of the exemplary reopening of tourism in the Caribbean. For more information on the destination’s travel logs, see here.

This is because more and more airlines are increasing their service to Provo Airport, from American Airlines operating two flights a day from Miami to new flights en route from New York.

“Most of the private villas are on the 10 miles (10 miles) of Grace Bay Beach, and there’s plenty of space on the beach to relax and be socially detached,” Bennet told the Caribbean Journal. “The restaurants and bars by the water are outdoors and open until 10 p.m. every evening. For those who prefer not to eat in public, it is easy to arrange a grocery delivery, takeaway, or private cooking service. “

And while Grace Bay Beach is Provo’s main attraction, villa-style vacationers can find stays all over the island, from the Tony Turtle Cove section of Provo to the

And then there is Long Bay, home to Provo’s premier residence: The Shore Club on Long Bay Beach.

The Shore Club is known for its villa-style units and its luxurious single mansions, the latter being some of the most spectacular accommodations in Turks and Caicos Islands.

For travelers looking for even more seclusion, there are options on other islands in Turks and Caicios like the all-inclusive villas at Ambergris Caye Private Island Resort and beachfront villas like those at Sailrock Resort on South Caicos Island.
