Uinta County Herald | Braeden Jamison Macdonald

Our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend Braeden Jamison Macdonald died peacefully in his home on Saturday April 17th, surrounded by family. Braeden bravely fought osteosarcoma for 2 1/2 years.

Braeden was born on July 11, 1998 in Provo, Utah, to Troy Macdonald and Andra (Williams) Trammell. Braeden lived in Provo, Utah; Rexburg, Idaho; and lived in Evanston for the last 10 years of his life. Braeden has made many valued friends everywhere he has lived.

Braeden’s first word was ball and he loved playing ball! Braeden loved all sports, but he was excellent at baseball and golf. Braeden received numerous awards in both sports and loved being with his teammates and coaches. He made priceless memories with his golf and baseball friends. Braeden graduated from Evanston High School in 2016 and then joined the golf team at Central Wyoming Community College.

Braeden loved spending time with family and friends. He loved camping, fishing and hunting. We have great memories of times together at Christmas Meadows and Flaming Gorge.

Braeden had a bright, infectious smile and a great sense of humor. Braeden loved to laugh and make people around him laugh.

Braeden was a perfectionist and expected perfection from himself. He was also a tough competitor. This competitive stance guided him through his battle with cancer. He struggled with courage, determination, and dignity through the many painful challenges he faced. With the challenges came many of the Lord’s tender graces.

We’ll miss Braeden’s laughter, dominance on the links, and tender heart. We look forward to a happy reunion with him.

Braeden is survived by his parents Troy and Priya Macdonald as well as Aaron and Andra Trammell; his brothers whom he loved so much: Jacob, Jordan, Josh and Joseph (Teneshia) Trammell, Seth and Derek Macdonald, and Baylin, Wade and Maximus Macdonald; Grandparents, Stan Macdonald, Richard and Camille Williams, Ed and Sue Trammell, and Mohan and Romy Sundareson; Nieces and nephews, Lola Johnson, River, Journee, Oaklee and Lakota Cruz Trammell. Braeden is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Death precedes him and he is welcomed at home by his grandmother Suzi Macdonald. and his uncle Varun Macdonald; and other loved ones who have left before.
