Utah Reports 1,253 Daily COVID-19 Cases Thursday; 8 new kills

Of the new cases, 282 were in school-age children, including 117 cases in children ages 5 to 10, 87 cases in children ages 11 to 13, and 78 cases in children ages 14 to 18. The 7-day rolling average for positive tests has increased to 1,311 per day. The 7-day rolling average for the percent positivity of “people over people” is 15.7%. and the 7-day rolling average for percent positivity for “tests over tests” is 10.4%.

With 8 additional deaths reported Thursday, the Utah death toll stands at 3,050:
