Disney’s Aladdin Kids – The premiere troupe of the American Fork Youth Theater will present “Disney’s Aladdin Kids” on March 18, 19 and 20 at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the Valentine Theater. $ 3 discount tickets are available through March 17th. At the door and online, tickets are $ 5 for adults and $ 4 for children. The theater follows COVID-19 guidelines, including mask wearing and social distancing. Zoom Storytime – The American Fork Library offers live storytime on Tuesday at 10 a.m. on Zoom. Register at https://aflibrary.eventbrite.com to be invited to join, then get a Storytime at Home Kit from the library. A new passcode is issued every week.

Missile and Flight Laboratory Class – Students learn the scientific principles of flight through hands-on studies as part of this course, which takes place weekly from 4pm to 5pm on Thursdays from March 16 to April 27. Karate courses from Sangaku-kan West – Karate training for adults and children from 6 years of age begins in March. One-hour lessons take place on Mondays and Wednesdays for different levels. HIGH fitness courses – This weekly class takes aerobics to the next level by combining modern fitness techniques like HIIT, plyometics, and intervals of strength and cardio with music. Classes currently take place on Mondays at 6 a.m. at the Cedar Hills Recreation Center. The drop-in rate is $ 5. Punch cards can be purchased at a discount. Social distancing will be in place. Get high with Dax – The Cedar Hills Recreation Center offers HIGH fitness classes twice a week – a children’s class for children between 6 and 16 years old on Thursdays at 6 a.m. and Fridays at 4:15 p.m. The Thursday class drop-in rate is $ 3.50 while the Friday class is free. Social distancing will be in place.

Senior bus – The Lindon Senior Center has a bus and offers trips to and from the center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is available to seniors residing in Lindon. Collection takes place between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The return takes place between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Volunteers in the library – Friends of the Payson Library note that residents can volunteer for an hour or less each month to help the library meet the needs of children and patrons. Volunteers are asked to offer ideas and support the group’s annual book sale. Senior Companion Program – Do you need help with loading, with the doctor or with other appointments? The Senior Companion Program can help. Volunteers can help run errands or visit. Volunteers Required – The Senior Companion Program requires seniors 55 and older to serve other seniors. Volunteers receive a $ 200 scholarship and a refund of miles. Community orchestra – The Saratoga Springs Community Orchestra practices every first and third Thursday of the month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the city offices at 1307 N. Commerce Drive. The orchestra is preparing for the Saratoga Splash Days and the holiday concerts in December.

Volunteers help children on the move – Every Friday and Saturday, Kids On The Move offers Respite Care and offers parents with children with special needs a free break. Families drop their children off at locations in Orem, Lehi, and Springville, where they work one-on-one with a volunteer to play for the evening. A nurse or behavioral technician is also present to assist with monitoring. The group is looking for 10 volunteers aged 16 and over every Friday and Saturday from 5:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to achieve this. Foster grandparents wanted – Utah County is seeking senior volunteers to be foster grandparents. Volunteers must be people with limited income, 55 years of age or older, who can serve 15 or more hours per week. Volunteers serve as mentors, tutors and caregivers for children and young people in schools, hospitals, youth centers and similar organizations. Volunteers receive a non-taxable scholarship, paid personal vacation, transportation reimbursement, ongoing training, and more. Utah County Home Calling Programs That Need Donations – The Utah County’s Department of Health home visit programs are running out of donated resources, such as baby blankets and diapers. The health department is asking members of the Utah County community to consider making a donation or organizing service projects to help make donations available. The items most needed are new reception blankets or small quilts and diapers. Other welcome items are: “Onesies” for toddlers, knitted hats and board books suitable for children. Items should be in new condition. Donations are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the following Department of Health locations: Provo – 151 S.
