The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has called new mission presidents and companions for 134 missions worldwide. They will begin their assignments in July. This includes five new missions in Africa and one in Europe.

The list includes assignments for the six new missions that begin this summer — five in Africa and one in Europe; with the additions, the Church will have 416 total missions.

8. Making wigs for children with cancer connects community in California’s Bay Area

As Diane Ferrari walked among hundreds of people making yarn wigs for children with cancer last October, she saw joy, smiles, care, love and laughter.
As the JustServe specialist for the San Jose California coordinating council — which covers 10 stakes in the Bay Area — Ferrari was part of the months-long planning for the wig assembling project at the Saratoga California Stake center.
