A woman in her 30s was flown to hospital Monday night after being hit by a car in Clearfield.
Traffic in the area of 1000 East Antelope Drive was affected as the turning lanes going east and west on Antelope Drive were closed.
The woman was walking north on a zebra crossing when she was hit by a pickup truck heading west on Antelope Drive, police told 2News.
Officials did not immediately suspect that impairment was a factor in the crash.
Police were unable to explain the victim’s condition or her injuries immediately, but traffic with police scanners indicated that the woman was likely in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
