Mitzie passed away May 3rd, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on July 21, 1939, in North Dakota to Lawrence and Margaret Scheeler. She was the oldest of 5 children. She married Darrell Fladeland in 1958. Together they had two children: Rick and Michelle. They later divorced.
Mitzie had the chance of living in several different places managing apartments and storage units. She had a true love for dogs. She rescued many and they all brought so much joy to her life. She enjoyed cooking and could always be found tidying things up. Her energetic spirit will be greatly missed.
Mitzie is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Scheeler, Margaret Pedro, and her younger sister Nancy Shaffer. She is survived by her brothers Larry Scheeler, Jackie (Shirley) Scheeler, and Danny Scheeler; her son Rick (Sandi) Fladeland; their children Brooklyn, Cole, Candace, and Chase; her daughter Michelle (Darin) Bennett and their children Brittney and Braden, along with nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in Vernal, Utah later this summer.
