Andrea Schmitt obituary (1968-2021) – Ogden, UT

Our beloved Andrea Kay Robertson Schmitt, “Andy”, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 13, 2021 at the age of 53; 14 years in leap years.

Andy was born in Shelbyville, Illinois on February 29, 1968 to Sandra Kay Latch Robertson Hundley and Michael Jan Robertson. She married John Schmitt in 2014 and lived in Ogden, UT. Andy is the mother of Skylar Robertson, Beyonka Tyrrell and Payton Bullock. Just before high school, she moved with her parents and siblings from Illinois to Utah. She graduated from Logan High School.

Andy loved spending time with her family and friends. She dedicated her life to her children and family. She loved her with all her heart. She was always looking for a reason to meet, be it for lunch at the Olive Garden, for morning coffee, to “clean the sink” at Angie’s restaurant or for the local demolition derby. She loved teasing people, it was always her way of showing that she cared and stood out.

She loved dogs, especially her service dogs Shiloh (deceased), Duke (deceased) and Roco. She loved to pamper her and took her everywhere.

She was very generous and had such a giving heart. She was kind, patient, loving, hardworking, and extremely generous. She loved to pamper herself and always tried to make sure that others were as happy as her. Andy was an avid tech enthusiast and could always be seen with the latest in phones, tablets, and devices.

Andy had several health problems and persevered through them. She was immensely supported by her loving husband John and her family. We will always carry our love and memories of her in our hearts.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Schmitt; their children Skylar, Beyonka, and Payton; her stepson Preston Christensen; her parents Sandra and Earl Hundley and Jan Robertson; her siblings Michaele Robertson Groutage, Monica (Mark) Trippler, Rachel Moody, Byron (Susana) Hundley, Kim (Ryan) Penman, and Cheyenne Robertson; and numerous family members.
