Crews rescue injured climber after large rock rolls over him

An injured climber is fortunate enough to be safe and sound after the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue came to his rescue.

SLCOSAR reported in a Facebook post that two climbers were looking for new routes in the Little Cottonwood Canyon waterfront.

A climber pulled a large rock the size of a refrigerator that rolled over him.

Two ground teams and LifeFlight responded to the call. The crews were able to carry the injured climber off the mountain.
