From bath bombs to resin jewelry, Craft Lake City has a workshop for you at the annual DIY Festival
Calling all artisans, creatives and emerging artists – this is an event not to be missed.
Craft Lake City is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to train, nurture and inspire local artisans while promoting the creative culture of Utah’s art scene through science, technology and the arts. Every year, Craft Lake City hosts workshops, organizes public art installations, and hosts a business academy to help emerging local makers grow their businesses. But their annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival is what really draws a lot of people in. If you’ve never been there this is a great way to start the year!
The 13th annual Craft Lake City DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Festival presented by Harmons is coming to Salt Lake City at the Utah State Fair Park August 13-15, and ticket sales are now live. DIY Festival is Utah’s largest local three-day arts festival featuring more than 300 local artisans, DIY engineers, artists, vintage sellers, and artisans. This year’s festival includes fun, hands-on workshops hosted by passionate teachers who will help you discover your creative side.
You might want to learn how to make the perfect cup of coffee, make your own therapeutic bath bombs, or master the art of natural coloring. Whatever your interests, Craft Lake City’s DIY festival workshops will improve your creative skills and give you the fulfillment of learning a new skill.
