According to YIMBY, building applications have been submitted to the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for a seven-story, mixed-use building at 1047 Ogden Avenue in the Highbridge section of the Bronx.
Located at the intersection of West 165th Street and Ogden Avenue, the property is closest to the 167th Street subway station, which is served by Line 4. Leo Brody of ZLB Holdings is listed as the owner of the applications.
The proposed 70 foot development will be 37,578 square feet, with 31,524 square feet for residential, 5,378 square feet for commercial and 675 square feet for community facilities.
The building will have 45 apartments, likely rental apartments, based on an average living area of 700 square meters. The steel structure will also have a 12-meter-long backyard and 14 closed parking spaces. Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect.
Demolition permits are likely not required as the property is vacant, according to YIMBY, and an expected completion date has not yet been announced.
