Morris J Adams, 94 of Provo Utah was called home to his Father in Heaven on the morning of January 3rd, 2023. He was born in Orem Utah on September 29th, 1928, to William Dee Adams and Nettie Rhea Brady Adams. Morris was child number 5 out of 11 children. He and his siblings shared in a lot of adventures including hiking Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon and Exploring the Orem Bench area. Morris served on an LDS mission in Boston Massachusetts. Morris met the beautiful Ruth R Hope, and the two were married on August 18th, 1949, in the home of Ruth’s parents. They had 5 AMAZING children. He was able to continue his adventurous life with his wife and children camping, fishing, and exploring the State of Utah. While he loved his family, he also loved his job as a Police officer with Provo Police Department where he took pride in being an honorable Patrol Sergeant. He retired in 1985 after almost 30 years of service. He also served in the United States Army Air Force for many years. In 1988, after years of caring for the love of his life he unfortunately lost Ruth to years of health issues. Morris was lucky to find love again in Carolyn Ruth McNeely and grow his family by 6 WONDERFUL bonus children. Morris lived a full and happy life surrounded by his siblings, two wives, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in Death by his parents, Brother- Willis (June) Adams, Douglas (Mary) Adams, Shelby (Barbara) Adams, Nolen Adams, Rulon (Kathryn) Adams, Perry (Dee) Adams, Kay (Betty) Adams. Sister- Jean (Kerry) Mangum. Spouses- Ruth R Hope Adams and Carolyn Ruth McNeely Adams. Daughter- Virginia Ruth Adams Covington. Daughter in Law – Lora Pauline Adams. Son in Laws- Jerry Delbert Covington, Norman D Lamb, John Allen Forman.

His legacy will live on with his children- Maxine Adams Jensen, Lindsay Morris Adams, Louise (Brad) Bruursema, Elizabeth Forman, Teresa(Kevin) Rawle, Lauren (Tarsha) McNeely, Duane McNeely, Brent McNeely, Randy (Kimberly) McNeely, Andra (Stephen) Harvey, his two brothers Lon Que (Joyce) Adams and Jerry (Carolyn) Adams. And his many grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.

The viewing will be January 10th, 2023, from 9:30 AM 10:30 AM at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 85 East 300 South, Provo, Utah. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM. Military Honors performed at Provo City Cemetery.
