VERNAL, Utah – An Ogden woman died early Sunday in an all-terrain vehicle accident, authorities said.
Rescue workers were dispatched to Red Cloud Loop Road near Iron Springs around 1:30 a.m., according to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office
“When representatives and medical staff arrived on site, they found one side by side about 12 meters down a steep dam,” said a UCSO Facebook post.
First responders tried life-saving measures, but the 25-year-old woman died on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle and another passenger were slightly injured.
Officials said impairment was a factor in the crash.
The victim’s identity was not disclosed. The investigation continues.
